The TEDxYouth@Tokyo team consists of over 40 students from 10 different schools in the Tokyo metropolitan area and surrounding land. There are 6 different teams that work on various parts of the event and two leadership teams to guide our final event into existence. Here's a short description of each our teams working on the event.
Our job as a workshop team is to first search for people who will be suitable to conduct a workshop for the TEDxYouth@Tokyo event, and then move onto contacting them to see whether they will be willing to do it for us or not. It is a hard process in coming to an agreement since many of them can be busy and we face difficulties trying to persuade them to do it for no profit. Once we have agreed upon the workshops, we each go on contacting one of the workshop hosts and continue with further meetings. We individually hold meetings or constantly keep in touch with the hosts until the day of the event so things like venues, equipment, and the content of the workshop is ready for the day.
